President’s Message
We are proud to highlight the inspiring initiatives accomplished by our dedicated volunteers in 2024. The meaningful partnerships with local community organizations have significantly benefited both volunteers who served and those supported by the organizations. We also share thanks and positive testimonials from our community partners that highlight the transformative impact of our joint efforts.
Since its establishment in 1998 by Sam and Jean Guyton, the Foundation has been a model of volunteerism, fostering camaraderie among colleagues, and emphasizing the importance of community service. The Foundation is a key element of our firm’s culture, embodying our core value of giving back. We are dedicated to maintaining this legacy and continuing to serve as the ‘heart’ of the firm for years to come.
On behalf of the Foundation’s board and office committees, we are honored to present the 2024 Annual Report. Last year, our volunteers engaged in rewarding initiatives and projects, making a remarkable impact by:
Contributing 36,713 pro bono and civic volunteer hours, equating to $21.8M in value
Providing back-to-school supplies, educational resources, and essential items for students of all ages
Organizing numerous food, clothing, and supply drives throughout the year to support individuals experiencing homelessness or those in need
Assisting individuals and families in need through various gifting programs and donations during the holiday season
To everyone who volunteered their time and support, we extend our gratitude. We look forward to continuing the Foundation’s mission together. I am also pleased to welcome Jeremy Raeszler, a Business Intake Specialist in the firm's Las Vegas office, as our incoming co-president for 2025. His leadership and new ideas will help guide the Foundation as we continue making meaningful impacts in our communities.

Michael Barber, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Colorado Area Director
Holland & Hart has been an amazing partner after connecting in 2024. Danielle reached out and was very helpful in finding volunteers from the group to volunteer at the Denver Metro Out of the Darkness walk.
After the team helped with the walk, we scheduled a time for AFSP presenters to visit the Holland & Hart office to present Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention. Sharing entry level suicide prevention education is one of the best ways to learn how to see suicide warning signs and know the steps to help someone struggling along with also encouraging those struggling with their mental health to reach out.
Thank you to Holland & Hart for helping AFSP Colorado
spread suicide prevention across the state!

Provide vital support
Jim Smith, Senior Services Office Supervisor, Human Services Agency
First, I would like to thank your organization for taking time to assist our Seniors in need with basic essentials. As you know in our current economic climate and with food and housing costs at an all time high, many seniors on fixed incomes are struggling and experiencing situational poverty, homelessness, and malnutrition. It is with the help and generosity of community partners like Holland & Hart providing desperately needed winter clothing that we can impact the lives of our clients with meaningful assistance by helping many of them remain independent and retain their dignity.
We look forward to forging long-term relationships with organizations such as yours that are actively engaged in the community and are willing to get out and do the valuable and rewarding work that is serving our Senior population which has contributed so much to our way of life.
